We want to express our gratitude for making the 2024 Justice as Trauma Conference such a tremendous success. Many of you asked for an encore, and we heard you!
We are thrilled to bring the JAT2025 Conference back to the Vancouver Convention Centre from March 17-19, 2025. We are welcoming back some of your favourite speakers from JAT2024, including Robert Seymour Wright, Dr. Caroline Bruce, Heather Hart, and others.
We listened closely to your feedback and understand that many of you wanted more opportunities for meaningful connections and direct learning from the speakers - so we have adjusted the conference format for 2025, featuring fewer speakers and providing more time for deeper engagement, relationship-building, and practical application of the principles shared.
We also heard you share your experiences with burnout, urgency culture, intergenerational trauma, toxic stress, vicarious trauma, and collective care practices. With these in mind, we’ve designed a program inspired by the Medicine Wheel, aiming to address your needs holistically—mind, heart, body, and spirit. Take a look at the single-day agenda below for a preview of what’s to come!
For updates, hotel information, the full conference program, and speaker announcements, please stay tuned to this website. We look forward to seeing you again at JAT2025!
