Eleanor Danks (she/her) is a lawyer, somatic psychotherapist, TedX speaker, facilitator, and expert by lived experience in the areas of intimate partner sexual violence and complex trauma. After working in criminal prosecution at the same time as moving through the criminal legal system as a victim of sexual violence, Eleanor now fights for a justice system that is able to hold and care for the humanity of both victims and offenders of harm. She works in an Australian pilot program offering independent socio-legal assistance to victim-survivors of sexual violence, alongside working in her own therapy practice to support those with a lived experience of trauma.
